Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit sacramentobatteryincentive.com, contact us, or schedule a free in-home solar and battery visit. Axia Solar is not SMUD and does not claim to represent SMUD.
Information you may provide
This website does not currently submit quick-check answers as an appointment request. The quick-check page may temporarily store your result in your browser session so the site can display it. You may choose to provide information by calling us or by using the linked Google Calendar appointment-scheduling page. Information submitted through the scheduling page may include your name, email address, telephone number, property address, homeowner status, electric utility, average electric bill, existing solar status, appointment preferences, and notes.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, limited technical and advertising-measurement information may be collected automatically, such as page views, referral information, device or browser information, approximate location, quick-check progress, and interactions with booking or phone links. We use the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel to understand advertising performance and site usage.
We use existing OpenAI and Meta measurement tools to understand page use and advertising performance. We may also receive anonymous source tags such as a published content identifier, entry type, and educational tool name. These tags do not include your answers, utility account information, address, bill amount, or proposal content.

Third-party services
The site links to services operated by third parties, including Google Calendar for appointment scheduling, OpenAI for advertising measurement, the Axia by Qcells website, and the Better Business Bureau. Sharing of information
Information may be shared with Axia by Qcells personnel, authorized appointment or installation partners, and service providers when reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, schedule the visit, operate the website, measure advertising, or comply with law. We do not state that your information will be sold.
Data retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for appointment follow-up, business records, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and advertising measurement. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
